Full Version: Is 2.4A enough to power a Tinker Board?

I've been thinking about getting a Tinker Board S when it becomes available, but in some cases (at school) I will need to power it with a power bank, so I've been searching for a power bank that can power a Tinker Board from name brands (I heard ASUS Zenpower and Mi power bank has good reputation where I live), but I can't find one (that can reliably power it) because most of them only has 5V 2.4A output, is that enough to power a Tinker Board? (Or should I just give up on buying a power bank?)

Yes, 2.4a is good.  2.4 is very close to 3a. The TB uses just 4 watts. The ASUS ZenPower looks to be a 5 star.
I ran my TB with a 1.8a for a long time and it did fine with no problems, no freezes, no logoffs, no reboots, and no black screens.
