Key repeating is a known issue for hardware keyboard use with Android but not as serious as situation like yours. Try disable the android virtual keyboard from Settings-> App sometimes help.

i am burning a fresh image of android using etcher and trying again,  fingers crossed your right because this would be a great alternative to buying a android TV.........Thank you so much for replying to my question

Many thanks Mikerr, that image with the play store installed worked brilliantly. Booted up in only a couple of minutes, then I did the factory reset to reclaim the spare room on the SD card (which took a bit longer). I'm all set to start getting my android media server together.

Incidentally, I had all sorts of problems yesterday trying to get the Tinker Board to boot up, it kept giving pages of errors, some hinting at storage / SD card. For anyone else having similar problems those were completely resolved today with a new microSD card (SanDisk Ultra 32GB A1)

but unfortunately didnt boot from this img for me.
none of android-OS cannot boot from SD card.(debian :boot from SD with no problem)

Good night is it possible to put this version 13 with root and RTC Module ds3231? I can't find a rooted version 13 and drum module anywhere.
I really need this version.
Can someone help me please? Since this is critical.
