Hello there.

I have a strange issue.

When I have my iFi iPower WallWart connected to my Tinker board, I start to hear noise in my Bottlehead crack amplifier.
first thing I did was to disconnect my DAC from the Tinker board but that did not matter.

Once I touch the aluminum case of my TB, I start to hear interference from my tube amp.
It gets louder if I touch the TB case and come close to the driver tube.

First I though this was the Wireless adapter messing with the Crack. so I started with turning off Wireless and Wireless hotspot in Volumio, but that did not make any difference.

The problem is the power supply. When I disconnect the iFi iPower, and use another 5v 2,5a Lenovo charger, the prolem goes away.

Can some one tell me what is a causing this behavior?

f you plug it in and it does not work, it simply does not work.
Just use your normal power supply.

Personally, I would not even consider buying iFi, for a microcomputer as the raspi or the tinkerboard, which is, in my eyes, a "noise-source" in itself.

(I also just removed a lot of text. Fact is, I called bs on the whole claims they made. But I cannot prove it, so I'm just sticking with "whatever works, works".)
