Introducing FydeOS for Tinkerboard - Successor of Flint OS
#1
If you want to run Chromium browser on Tinker Board, you must remember Flint OS (https://flintos.io). After the recent acquisition by Neverware, we are continuing to support the Tinker Board community by launching FydeOS for TKB, with more customisations and enhancements tailored for makers like you.

We are revamping our websites at the moment, the latest release of FydeOS for TKB v3.3 is available to download via:

Also, if you favour the vanilla Chromium OS and build the latest OS image from Google's repository, we have open-sourced our overlays and full instructions to guide you through the process. You are more than welcome to fork it, report issues and send patches:

We wish you enjoy tinkerboarding with FydeOS.

if you wish to run Android apps, might as well just burn an Android OS. FydeOS here is designed to provide a better browsing experience and web-app platform

I installed (flashed) Fyde OS v3.3 (and Flint OS as well, the same happens) to the USB sd and it boots succesfully, but flashing it to the emmc of the TB makes that it won't boot. Is there a way to get Flint or Fyde to boot from the TB S' emmc?
