Display Problems when using screen in Portrait (90° Rotated)
Hello everyone,
I just got my tinkerboard a few days ago - so not so familiar with the hardware yet.
My problem:
I want to make a portrait mode kiosk installtion (magicmirror) with the tinkerboard.

tinkerboard - tinkerOS version v2.0.5 - Debian stretch based
AOC 4k 32" Display (AOC U3277PWQU  3840 x 2160)

I rotated the Display with
xrandr --output HDMI-1 --rotate left

Now the Problem:
While everything was super sharp in landscape mode I got pixel line errors after i rotate the screen. (pic attached)

Does someone have an idea what the problem is?

Thank you in advance

I tested it with another Display (same resolution) with similar problems.
So it might not be a Hardware problem on the Display side.

I don't recall if this works but worth trying the image with kernel 4.14.y
Armbian. Lightweight Debian Stretch or Ubuntu Bionic for Tinker Board.
Thx for that hint. But I need to stay with Tinker OS
What is your resolution??
My 1920x1080 rotate via xrandr command, result is fine and look well.

I am having this problem with both 1920x1080 (on a 4k Screen) and 3840x2160.
Reinstalled TinkerOS several times. Tried different releases. tried Different Displays (all 4k to be honest) not working.
I am really desperate...
Having the same problem with an ELO 32" touchscreen (model 3243L) with 1920x1080 native resolution. Looks great in landscape, and on the console with the "fbcon=rotate:3" kernel parameter passed in through /boot/extlinux/extlinux.conf. However, rotating X via xrandr "works", but with very slow graphics performance and similar horizontal lines. I tried Armbian; same results.
