Can't control backlight
I am using the official 7" touchscreen Pi display.
I've got the screen rotated and touch is working, thanks to posts I found on this forum

However, I can't control the backlight, because the /sys/class/backlight/ folder is empty. All of the tools I found utilize this folder's subfolders to change brightness etc

Anyone know how to get the touchscreen to be in /sys/class/backlight?

Controlling backlight is not supported by Tinker board drivers.
What about turning off the backlight completely instead of dimming?
Right now, I am using XScreensaver to turn it off. Is there a way to turn it off from SSH session?

Surely however Xscreensaver turns it off, I can manually turn it off
