Good afternoon,
there are reports, that it is possible to use spotify on armhf OSs.
No direct install, but as plugin for the mediaplayer mopidy.

https://docs.mopidy.com/en/latest/installation/debian/
but as newby I could not follow the instructions.

I hope you can help me to follow the instructions.

So for a newbie, I'd advice to have a backup plan, just in case to go back from a mistake.
The rest of that guide is to copy the commands into a console. The commands are those written in the light green background windows. Follow the proposed order.

For example you should launch lxterminal and highlight the command to be copied, then right click in the lxterminal and chose to paste. Press Enter and the command is executed.
For any error during these steps, just highlight it and report it here for support Wink Please use the correct tags for these reports on the forum.

Thank you very much.
I will now try to install mopidy with spotify plugin.

I will then report how it did go.

Have a nice evening

To get Spotify music on TinkerOS, a workaround is to download your favorite music using the AudFree Spotify Downloader and then transfer them to your computer for offline listening. You can give it a go. Big Grin

Well, if you're in a country where Spotify is available as the US, you can normally download it from google. Still, if you're in a country where Spotify isn't available, you need to change your IP address to the country where Spotify is available.

For that purpose, you will have to use Virtual Private Network (VPN); it not only changes your location but also provides a secure pathway for your data to travel safely. Here is a basic guide about VPNs it is really helpful.

Please don't worry! Even if there is no way to install Spotify, you can still listen to Spotify music on TinkerOS. You can use DRmare Spotify Music Converter to download Spotify songs and playlists on your computer. They are common audio files and can be playable and synced to other devices as you like. Just have a try!

I have been using a workable trick to use Spotify music on TinkerOS, which requires to download Spotify music by an extra Spotify downloader, for example, AudKit Spotify Music Downloader. The downloaded Spotify songs can offline play on the computer.

Well, I usually use TunesKit Spotify Converter to download music from Spotify for use on ThinkerOS. It can help me convert Spotify to MP3 format, so that I can listen to Spotify music offline without premium anywhere I want. The conversion speed is quite fast and the output quality is almost the same as the original files. Like it very much!
