Thank you for your support. I was expecting the bare bone version, I'm trying for a headless system Wink

First test:
  • No DHCP server running
  • hostapd running, but useless
  • Strangely 16 Mbytes allocated for the u-boot. I didn't started the full image. I Copied the rootfs over a previous installation. u-boot still the 5.50 version. The boot didn't caused any problem.
I haven't tried to start the TBS connected to a monitor, just connected the UART and check something. Perhaps next day I'll give a try.

Doing copy/paste magic and making a "test". Then complaining that something is odd and doesn't work. Seriously? Smile

DHCP server was never there, hostapd as well ... if you haven't setup.

OK, that's right.
An incorrect method. Anyway difficult to get a SSH session.

I decided to try last version https://dl.armbian.com/tinkerboard/Ubunt...desktop.7z
Downloaded the file, unpacked it, wrote Armbian_5.59_Tinkerboard_Ubuntu_bionic_next_4.14.67_desktop.img to SD-card with Etcher.

Trying to run - black screen, nothing happened. Am I doing something wrong?

There are problems with certain monitors. IIRC it's fixed in trunk. Check this thread: https://forum.armbian.com/topic/8293-hdm...-next-560/

CLI version is 1st download. https://www.armbian.com/tinkerboard/ If you need some other combination, you need to build. We don't create all possible ones.
