Why is there randomly now a bunch of fuzz all around my text? Is there a way to fix it?

I don't think is the TB hardware to give this. It might be the monitor/TVset that fails to render a proper scaling.
Anyways you might try to set a different DPI for the display. Supposed to be used on a graphic mode. BTW you may look at the login screen and (press CTRL+ALT+Fn) check whether the artifact persist.

Hmmm I don't think my monitor is the issue. It worked just fine before I turned the TB on one day lol. How do I change the DPI!?

Here's some more pictures.. The text just looks.. odd. Could that be the DPI?

The first search of debian setting screen dpi Wink
It is also noted that chromium might detect (or not) the correct DPI. Therefore it would be interesting to see whether the rest on the display has the same artifact (out of a web browser), e.g a text editor and/or a PDF file which are showing such bad font rendering.
