Uncomment and change parameter

Make sure you restart after changing sshd_config

The OS is implemented in a way that discourage the user to access the system as a root. It's mostly preferred to use sudo. Therefore in case to become root, just issue

$ sudo su

From there you might want to assign a root password by

passwd

Which might upset several other situations which conflicts with sudo.
