Salvaged screen from an old tablet, help!!!
#1
I salvaged a tft screen from an android tablet, but I removed the tft part. Now I want to install it on my tinker board s.

Do I have to pass by the CPIO since the connector fits in the place where it the slot?

I meant to look for the tinkerboard schematics which you'll find my mentions on the forum.
Your display seems to be hardy to find details.

I am quite new to this so the schematic are like in chinese for me. I know the screen got a mipi (but not the 30 pin they say)

Since I use armbian should I add drivers or such ?

Well, it won't achievable if you don't have such kind of knowledge. Easier to damage than get thing working.

So I found the mipi DSI schematic on the file. Now I need to find the ACER schematic for that specific tablet and how they modified the screen.
