Python face detection using opencv and dlib in Tinkerboard
#1
I am using tinker board with Lubuntu OS , and currently working on opencv face detection in python using opencv3 and dlib.
Previously I was using Raspberry pi but the program was laggy and crashes a lot due to slow processing speed, so I moved to Tinkerboard.

But Tinkerboard is not doing so well either, the program launches faster now, but the video output window has very laggy output, and it crashes more ( crashes in the sense it is unable to read a frame from a video input, -215 assertion problem where the frame is unable to be read properly) . I dont know what to do.

After installing Lubuntu , I ran sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade, I did not install any graphics driver or installed any driver of any sorts. Is there something that I am missing? Is there a graphics driver to be installed for faster video related works?

Thank you

You need OS with active support and something like this https://forum.armbian.com/topic/7262-rk3...nkerboard/

I don't know this app requirements, but you get best chances.
Armbian. Lightweight Debian Stretch or Ubuntu Bionic for Tinker Board.

Silly question, do I need to install the armbian OS or just download the script link given in the website and execute that?
