How to set static IP by script?

Hi Guys,

anybody who can help to set IP address by script? We are only able to set i temporary Sad

If TB is connected to a router then its the router to arrange such configuration. In the other hand when TB act as router then it will be the configuration to decide the static IP.
It might be slightly different if you're talking about a MAC.
Light blue words might be a link. Have you try to click on them? Big Grin

Im4Tinker, please read again "...can help to set IP address by script" i dont want to use dhcp or m-dhcp, i want to set static ip on tinker android.

So anybody know which config file should be edited to do so?

Hello Peter, as I know it's not possible to manipulate the network settings via script on Android > Lollipop. Before it was, with some commands as netcfg or ifconfig. I tried it now with the TB Nougat, but it takes always the ip address that it is set in the preferences after 'ifconfig eth0 up'.
