GUI for cron
#1
I tried to install gnome-schedule on the tinker board S using the tinker OS linaro stretch v2.0.8.

Could not get it to work, it showed up in the list but would never even popup a window.

Anyone find any GUI alternatives?  Just trying to mike life easier for myself.

Finally got gnome-schedule working on the Tinker Board. I am using Linaro.

Out on the web I found and downloaded the following; gnome-schedule_2.1.1-4_all.deb, python-support_1.0.15_all.deb.
Next on the Synaptic Package Manager I loaded the following; python-gtk2, python-nome2, python-glade2, at
(note that "at" is not a typo, it is a program that must be downloaded and installed).
after all those items are installed, then do the following;

cd /home/linaro/Downloads (or goto the directory you downloaded the files)
sudo dpkg -i python-support_1.0.15_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i gnome-schedule_2.1.1-4_all.deb

Now if you look under "System Tools" you should see "Scheduled tasks", it should now work.
