https://sourceforge.net/projects/tinkerboard/

Nothing fancy, just TinkerOS 2.03 pre-installed with the following apps:

Kodi - media center
LibreOffice - office apps
Pinta - lightweight paint program
VLC - media player
VNC server

Sonic Pi - Music programming language
Minetest - minecraft-like game
Claws mail
Guvcview - webcam viewer
Geany - programmers editor

Netflix and hulu work in Chromium (thanks to https://tinkerboarding.co.uk/forum/thread-329.html)

Adobe Flash working in Chromium and firefox

Printer support added via CUPS and control-panel.

tinker-config installed (https://tinkerboarding.co.uk/forum/thread-400.html)

samba installed with home directory shared : //tinkerboard/home
and kernel messages shown at bootup

tinkerOSplus-2.03.img.zip [1.8GB] - needs an 8GB card

Might help some get started quicker.

Great programs also:
gwenview - Picture Browser
Audacity - Audio file editor
Gimp - Photo Editor
kdenlive and openshot- Video Editors
Okular - pdf reader
gparted - Partition Editor
Kwrite - Document Editor
Filezilla - File Sharing
Thunderbird - Email Client
smplayer - Audio Player  Note:  VLC skips with music files and works perfect with video files.

Is chromium accelerated after full update?

Is there something wrong with your OS?

That's to keep the filesize down - expand the filesystem to fill your SD card in your tinkerboard:

Code:
sudo tinker-config
select advanced / expand filesystem
reboot

It's working.  I skipped over that one and straight to the install.

No lockups.

Kodi is not running smooth. It buffers and video stops.  Do you have a fix for it?  I hope we can get it accelerated.
I looked around and can't see anything to do.

The new version 2.0.3 has tinker-config in the menu. It has language/local selection.
Don't know if that one works. Hope so. Let us know how well it works.
menu>pref>tinker board configuration>localization

I have been running Mikerr's OS and it works very good.
Remember after installation run sudo tinker-config to resize your microSD.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone meet an issue that the board will automatically reboot after many time and then completely shut down?
After showing the booting log, it shows the load screen very quickly and then blank screen, then a mouse for ~5 seconds then reboot.
I can boot the board with version 1.8, 2.0.1, yocto but still have the problem with this image.
