GPIO usage over Android
#1
Hi all,

I need to use the TinkerBoardS GPIO pins from Android. I have seen the the C++ and Python libraries, but they use the /sys/class/gpio/... , and the Android app does not have permissions to access these files. Is there any JAVA or Kotlin library to access and read/write the /dev/gpiomem?

Thank you very much,

You can take a look here: https://github.com/joerg65/wiringTinker_Android
You would need to add jni support to your Android Studio project and use the wpi_android.c. You can precompile the library and import it or let Android Studio compile it. I never used Kotlin, but I think you can find how to integrate the library into your project like my example with Java.
