Regarding Tinker Edge T External Antenna connection
#1
Shocked

In Coral SOM used in the Tinker Edge T, there are both a u.FL connector and Chip Antenna on the same RF path trace.
So in order to use the external antennae, is there any need to remove any capacitor or inductor in the path of chip antenna in order to avoid interference in the RF path?
Please advice on the usage of external dual band antennae in the Tinker Edge T

Hi,

You can use external antenna without removing any components in the path. But suggest to use chip antenna first.

Both of J1301 and J1302 can be support WiFi 2.4G and 5G, you can use either one for your application.
