Those who wants to get better HDMI support on modern kernel ... We need some help with testing while adding new screen resolutions:

Yeah I can test with my 4k screen. It has DVI and HDMI ports and I received a DVI to HDMI cable exactly today.

Could you provide a URL to the image to flash? It's not so obvious from the ticket.

You comment with "!build" and Jenkins will make artefacts (kernel image +  dtb deb file which you install on top of any armbian) is made. I just did, check:

So it seems it doesn't work yet. Would it make sense to compare with TinkerOS?

Haha, yeah no problem! I usually don't have the Tinker Board hooked up to my 4k screen as I tend to use it with my TV which is full HD. But as I had put it there to help out with the Android testing in the other forum, I thought I might as well try to help with Armbian as Armbian is what I actually use Smile

Maybe the debug dmesg output I got with Android could also be of help: https://schwart6.home.xs4all.nl/a7-4k/
I'll drop that in the GitHub thread too.
