Swap Partition?

Hi guys,

someone use Tinkerboard with swap partition? is necessary? how big? 4gb?

I would not at all recommend using a swap partition on a "non disc" drive. SSD's and memory cards should not have them because it can reduce their life due to the constant writing. Swap partitions should really only be used on optical hard drives.

Hey, knuxyl: Good point about not swapping to an SSD. I assume you meant you should only swap to magnetic hard drives, not optical ones. Is that right?
