This would need a rebuild, right? Or could it be done on an operating system?

Thx for the answer anyway!
I hoped it wont be a problem with the Kernel because I have no expertise what so ever on this stuff...

Yes, you need rebuild the kernel.

step 1. download kernel
git clone https://github.com/TinkerBoard/debian_kernel.git

step 2. add the following line to arch/arm/configs/miniarm-rk3288_defconfig
CONFIG_USB_SERIAL_CH341=y

step 3. rebuild the kernel
make ARCH=arm miniarm-rk3288_defconfig
make zImage ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabi-

then you will get a new zImage file under arch/arm/boot

step 4. replace the zImage file which is in your boot sdcard

Hi,

when I try to make the "make zimage..." i get

linaro@linaro-alip:~/Downloads/debian_kernel-linux4.4-rk3288$ make zImage ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-linux-gnueabi-
scripts/kconfig/conf  --silentoldconfig Kconfig
  CHK     include/config/kernel.release
  CHK     include/generated/uapi/linux/version.h
  CHK     include/generated/utsrelease.h
make[1]: 'include/generated/mach-types.h' is up to date.
  CC      kernel/bounds.s
arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc: No such file or directory
Is your PATH set correctly?
Kbuild:44: recipe for target 'kernel/bounds.s' failed
make[1]: *** [kernel/bounds.s] Error 2
Makefile:1026: recipe for target 'prepare0' failed
make: *** [prepare0] Error 2

What should I do??

The following image is based on the V2.0.4 kernel image and add the CONFIG_USB_SERIAL_CH341 kernel config.
Please have a try. just copy it into your sdcard and replace the original file.

jamess, thank you for the new zImage file!

IDE connects now Arduino Nano to dev/ttyUSB0.

Hello, I am having the same issue. I have set up octorprint and cannot connect to ch340 on the printer. I have tried to use this version of zimage but it leaves me with a flickering display and no wifi. Please advise? Thanks.

It should be caused by your image version. The image version which is older than V2.0.3 will cause no wifi, once you update the zImage.
May you use the image version above v2.0.3 ? e.g. : V2.0.3 or V2.0.4
