OS images to download
#31
I’m on stretch 2.01 and would like to try 2.03
I have some backups and a full disk image should things go badly.
What I’d like to know is what the procedure is to up grade only the OS whilst retaining as much of my custom installation as possible?

Preemptive kernel with ondemand performance governor, RAID support, reiserfs, btrfs, ntfs, fat32, cifs, autofs4.

Thanks @gooze74 for this nice image.

I'm trying to install Kodi but it crash all the time. I installed gdb that was missing regard to the crashlog but it still crashing. Something with missing core file in home/linaro/core.
Do you have any solution about this.
I´m newbie in linux but learning every day  Smile

I did not have any issue installing Kodi and I am able to play everything really smoothly. However, I experienced similar issues when updating the system (sudo apt-get upgrade, sudo apt-get dist-upgrade) which broke some of the X server features.

Very nice image, based on debian 9 (stretch), autofs runs out of the box.

I tryed some iptables comands, seems to be working, so openvpn shoud work (not tested).

But no WIFI.

@gooze74, pls try to implement WIFI and bluetooth.

Thanks, a lot for that image ...

Greets
For the moment, the kernel supporting WIFI and bluetooth is really outdated compared to the one used in this image. The rockchip team tends to update their kernel according to their MPP library and their Xserver. So I prefered to make an image without wifi & bluetooth for stability anf features.
It is still possible to try to have WIFI and bluetooth by following my tutorial and selecting the branch "release-20160818-miniarm" of the Rockchip kernel repository or compiling from the official kernel sources directly from my image (http://tinkerboarding.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=66).

hey gooze74, so when are we getting the wifi and bluetooth ?
thanks.

I have installed the 20180206-tinker-board-android-marshmallow-play-v13.13.0.74.img file from your google drive. Works great! However the 128 Gb microSD card is only recognized by the board as having  5.2 Gb free space. I have formatted the card again with SD Card Formatter (overwrite format) checked the card and it´s OK. Wrote your img file with Etcher and it only seas 5.2 Gb free space again. Pls advise.
