Japanese Input
#1
Does anyone have Japanese language input working on Tinker? If so, how did you do it?

I'm getting nowhere with this. I have ibus and ibus-mozc installed, and can start the daemon and switch to Japanese input and set hirigana input. However, whatever I type just appears in English.

I  used tinker-config to set the following locales:

Code:
Generating locales (this might take a while)...
  en_GB.ISO-8859-1... done
  en_GB.ISO-8859-15... done
  en_GB.UTF-8... done
  ja_JP.EUC-JP... done
  ja_JP.UTF-8... done
Generation complete.

But, still no sign of Japanese input working.

誠にありがとうございました。今度こそ設定の手順を従って日本語入力ができるようになりました。前回の間違いが何か分かりませんが、やっとできましたから、嬉しいです。
